Since 2018, The School Garden Doctor has empowered more than 35 teachers through professional learning opportunities, served three sites through farm-to-school programming, and engaged with five local organizations to enhance outdoor and environmental programs in the community. The signature program, Dirt Girls, recently provided 100 plants, 36 virtual sessions, one in-person field trip, and three Saturday park meetups in 2021. 

What else we’ve grown:


young women grew their interest in STEM careers through engaging in the DiRT GiRLS after school garden club.


elementary level teachers grew expertise with integrating cooking and gardening into the curriculum.
